Online Workshop: Adapting polling stations to the needs of people with disabilities - law and practice (in Polish)

The Political Accountability Foundation invites you to participate in a training on adapting polling stations to the needs of people with disabilities. The training will be conducted by Dr. Jarosław Zbieranek and Sylwia Drozdowska. The regulations specifying the requirements that a designated accessible location must meet will be discussed. We also anticipate a "soft" part that will increase the sensitivity and skills of participants in recognizing barriers that people with disabilities may encounter in public spaces. From among the training participants, we will select and invite some people to jointly develop an observation tool for assessing the level of adaptation of polling stations to the needs of people with disabilities. We plan to use this tool during future social missions to observe elections.

REGISTRATION: To participate in the training, please fill out the registration form by midnight on May 17 (Sunday): https://forms.gle/6VDy3tLuCffULd1c9. The training is designed for people preparing for the role of a social election observer, but we invite everyone interested in the topic of the needs of voters with disabilities to participate. We will select a maximum of 30 participants from the applications received. We will inform applicants of the recruitment results by email no later than May 17 (Tuesday). Participation in the training is free and will be confirmed by a certificate.

This workshop is part of the project “European voters - together for electoral integrity” and funded by the European Union as part of the Europe for Citizens (EfC) programme.
